Production Lead

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead team of photographers, videographers, and video editors, providing guidance, support, and creative direction

• Collaborate closely with our Director of Media and other team leads to effectively and holistically plan and coordinate the comprehensive visual coverage of our events. You will oversee the capture of speakers, audience interactions, and event highlights.

• Ensure all captured and edited media adheres to the organization's brand guidelines, maintaining a consistent creative direction

• Provide constructive feedback to team members for maintaining consistency and creativity in visual storytelling

• Manage and organize footage and other captured media

• Brainstorm and conceptualize design ideas that effectively communicate the organization's goals and values

• Communicate with other teams to understand individual event branding and aesthetics

• Stay up-to-date on trends and technologies, bringing fresh and innovative ideas to the table

• Work closely with Media Director to develop and strengthen TEDxNortheasternU's core brand and creative direction

Qualities

• Portfolio demonstrating a strong background in photography and/or videography

• Self-sufficient, self-starting, detail-oriented, and driven quick learner

• Well organized with strong project management and communication skills

• Familiarity with photo and video editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, etc.)

• Passion for connecting people and building communities with a keen interest in visual storytelling

All students currently enrolled at Northeastern University on the Boston, MA campus who are interested in TEDxNortheasternU and believe they would be a good fit for this position are encouraged to apply. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
