Social Media Coordinator

Social Media Coordinators are responsible for the creation, curation, and management of content for promotion, education, and entertainment. They are experts in crafting compelling and engaging content that resonates with target audiences and effectively communicates our message and brand.

Boston
3-4 hrs/week

Responsibilities

  • Craft compelling stories through social media campaigns (Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, blog posts, etc.)
  • Write meaningful captions and post content to social media platforms
  • Respond to comments, messages, and mentions, creating a positive and engaging online community
  • Maintain relationships with other Northeastern organizations, cross-posting when relevant and mutually beneficial
  • Capture visual content from events
  • Table around Northeastern

Requirements

  • Self-sufficient, self-starting, and driven quick learner
  • Must have experience and skill with common social media platforms, especially Instagram
  • Good eye for visual media
  • Passion for connecting people and building communities preferred
  • Knowledge with SEO, marketing programs (CRM), and similar tools (or interest in learning said tools) is a plus
